Novi Stars Una Verse!

Quite a large box for such a small doll. The metallic back has parts cut out of the cardboard.

The dolls hair sticks out of these in places.



The box handle doubles up as a headband.

Yeah okay then.

Tied into the box along with her pet and stand.

Her pet alien creature named Molecule.

Una has quite bad box hair, but after a good brushing she looks presentable. There was a small amount of hair loss but nothing major. It had some gel down the sides on the curled parts.

The doll stand glows! Quite brightly too. Unfortunatley, due to the amount of hair this doll has, she is very unsteady when stood up, and the stand does not hold her well enough.

Her eyelashes are super long and glittery. Her eyes are gorgeous. They are inset and each pupil has a tiny star and planet detail inside. Also you can see how shimmery her face is.

She has a weird profile, although probably not weird for an alien.

Big pointed ears!

Una has swirly anntenae coming out of her head. Also her hair is rooted three different colours. Pure white mainly, then a streak of different blues on each side.

Her outfit is quite basic. A dress, a bracelet, a ring and a collar-like necklace.

The collar completely restricts any neck movement.

She has a large rose shaped ring, which when removed leaves a giant hole in her hand. This falls out very easily. And only four fingers!

Her shoes have holes in the bottom which attatch to the stand. I havn't been able to remove the shoes yet, so I'm not sure if they are actually supposed to come off or not.

Whilst undressing the doll, her arms fell out O_O luckily the pegs pop right back in, the left arm is very loose and falls out very easily.

Her body is one complete piece, and is filled with water from just under her bust right to her feet. There is no articulation in the doll at all apart from the joints at her armpits and her neck.

When I first got her from the shop she must have been stored standing up because all the glittler had settled at the bottom of her ankles. It took a while to get the glitter to spread out around her body evenly.

 

Her head pops off also.

The glitter is a peachy orange shade, my camera refused to pick it up. There are also little stars inside.

Then strange things started happening . . .

What . . .

. . . on Earth . . .

. . . is going on? Some kind of freakshow by the looks of things. Some scary hybrids can definitley be created. Hopefully the Novi Stars line will, in the future, bring out some kind of accessory packs that will make use of the way they come apart.

Una stood next to a Monster High doll for size reference. I was a little disappointed with just how tiny these dolls are, not really worth the £19.99.

Una is definitley a very sweet little doll. She does have her flaws but overall she is pretty unique and well worth getting for that reason alone.
